Ah, our favorite question! Every single piece at Klorophyll is 100% hand-painted with love by a real artist. These are not prints, and no two are ever exactly alike. When you buy from us, you're buying a truly original, one-of-a-kind piece with its own unique texture and brushstrokes.

Klorophyll is a collective of talented, emerging artists. We (the founders) work directly with our studio artists to bring these designs to life. Our entire mission is to support these artists by giving them a platform to do what they love, and to bring you accessible, original art.

This is the beautiful part of "handmade". It will look almost identical, but not exactly. Because a real human hand is painting your piece, there will be tiny, beautiful variations in the brushstrokes and texture. This is what gives your painting its unique soul and proves it's an original. We guarantee the design, color palette, and quality will be a match, but the final piece will be yours and yours alone.

We create and deliver the paintings as they are on a stretched canvas. You may purchase a frame if you wish after the sale. However, they look the best without one. We make sure to coat them with high-quality varnish so that you don't have to worry about the painting damage. 

Since your painting is literally made-to-order just for you, it takes a little more time and care. Our process has two parts:

First, Painting & Drying (Our Artists): Please allow 3-4 business days for our artists to create your piece and let it dry completely.

Second, Shipping (Our Couriers): Once it's ready, we pack it up safely and ship it out. Standard shipping usually takes 2-3 days. You can expect your new art to arrive at your doorstep within a week!

We get it. Gifting is a high-stakes sport! Since we can't rush the painting or drying process (art just needs its time!), we can't always guarantee a tight deadline.

Please, please WhatsApp us using the icon on the screen [below right] before you order. We will check our studio's current schedule and see what's possible. We will always try our best to help you.

We will make this right. Please just take a few clear photos of the damage (including the box!) within 24 hours of receiving it and WhatsApp it to us. We will immediately get a replacement in the works for you or issue a full refund. You will not be at a loss.
